Spring Cleaning

Wed Apr 25, 2007, 11:09 AM
  • Mood: Joy
So I've cleaned out my gallery....got it down to almost one page. I deleted those deviations I thought were just utter junk and scrapped the deviations I liked but didn't think were worthy of a gallery spotlight. I did this because I feel my art has REALLY improved a lot over the past few months and I felt a lot of my art didn't really represent my actually ability. On that same note I wanted to make room for new art coming in that I think is really good and a more accurate depiction of my art ability. So everything you see in my gallery now is pretty much there just because I think it's super cute and wanted to share it with the world.

lady! you should study elsewhere in the US, or even Canada if you have students ask question like those of which you have posted on the forums!

"if ancestors were dark skinned, why are modern people white?"

good one!

but seriously! consider it! it'd be cheaper for you too! cuz the

Canadian and $US is totally outta whack!

from a concerned deviant :salute:

ha ha ha ha I'm glad someone understands/feels my pain!!

Sometimes I really want to leave the US.....I honestly do think about it. Are Americans really that uneducated compared to the rest of the world??

well....i watched a 20/20 episode about education in america, and they happened to give these 8th graders in jersey a little test...and did the same to kids in other countries like canada(where i am) england, denmark...to name a few. it was a basic math and english test. The results were crazy! the jersey kids scored a 45 avg out of a possible 100, while the other kids all scored 70-98! it was astounding! i have a little cousin in the US and i wish for her to go to a private school and i know its not up to me though :(.

i've lived in the US and i can say that americans in general are really uneducated. i dont know how that can be! it just baffles me at times, you know? i think it would have to do with the federal government....the "kid left behind" thing was a real joke! and a lie, they are closing a whole bunch of social programs which will put kids back on the "street"!

but in university, its not about them its about U :) dont worry about the fools of university, when you have your career underway they'll still be thinking about what to wear to a drunken toga party ;). all in all i wish you the best of luck....anthro and bio happen to be what i would like to do as well in university!

best of luck and take care!
